Encuentro Midwest 2026 is a full-day convening in Milwaukee, which brings together Latino nonprofit leaders, advocates, and community organizations from across the Midwest. It’s a day of policy, fundraising, and community resilience – building Latino power in the Midwest. The day kicks off with a fireside chat between Wisconsin’s Lieutenant Governor Sara Rodriguez and HF President Frankie Miranda and includes leadership conversations to hands-on workshops, covering four big themes: federal policy advocacy, donor fundraising strategy, disaster preparedness, and workforce development in a tough job market. The closing panel focus on economic solutions for Latino communities.
