Trans-Latinx DMV advocates for the needs that specifically affect the Trans-Latinx community and strategizes ways to improve the community’s quality of life in DC, Maryland and Virginia (DMV) while working to amplify educational resources promoting Trans leader empowerment.
History
Trans-Latinx DMV function as a chapter of the Translatin@ Coalition, base in the DMV area. DC have a lot or resources, but our director Alexa Rodriguez saw a gap for community member accessing this resources, and funded Trans-Latinx DMV in 2014, making rallies, marches and vigils for victims of violence.
