New York Council On Adoptable Children

The New York Council on Adoptable Children (COAC) is a non-profit organization, founded in 1970, with a mission focused on: sustaining families who are providing permanent, loving homes for children; helping children in post-adoptive, post-guardianship, and kinship families and enabling them to grow to become healthy adults and live rewarding, productive lives; and supporting individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

COAC provides English / Spanish bi-lingual case management and legal services, and, in recent years, has grown to reach more vulnerable individuals in NYC, many of whom are immigrants and new Americans, through expanded services, including a food pantry.
