Founded in 2014, America On Tech’s [AOT] mission is to decrease the racial wealth gap in communities of color by creating pathways for underestimated BIPOC students into degrees and careers in tech. We seek to have at least 85% of our graduating seniors enroll in a computer science/tech degree in college and/or enter the tech workforce. And the tech sector jobs made available to our alumni come with an average salary of $132,930 [software developers], compared with the U.S. average wage of $61,900.
