A2L’s mission: educate individuals, families & communities how to advocate for themselves in order to change lives. We are focused on Greater Htfd area, but the state benefits. We are known for: 1.Community engagement 2.Policy changes 3.Youth Leadership. Located in North Hartford, we work with Youth, West Indian & AA populations. We live in the communities we serve. Our work involves being out & listening. We have a unique perspective of what impacts those populations – economically & socially. We understand the cultural nuances of the populations/subpopulations we serve. We treat everyone with respect & meet people where they are.
