Type(s): Piñata

Hispanic Federation is lucky to have a large and growing group of supporters and donors. They take our work seriously and we take their investment in us just as seriously. Our goal is to make sure that fundraising dollars reach our member agencies and the communities they serve rather than cover administrative expenses. It seems we’re getting it right. Out of every dollar spent by HF in 2015, 87 cents went towards community programs and services. According to Charity Navigator, the nation’s leading largest and most respected charity evaluator, we are also amongst an elite group of charities that meet its highest financial standards.

In 2015, we again received Charity Navigator’s 4-star designation. Only 14% of the charities rated have received at least 3 consecutive 4-star evaluations.

“We’re thrilled to have received this designation once again,” said Jose Calderon, President. “It shows that not only are we successfully carrying out our mission of advancing social change, but we are committed to leading the way in meeting our sector’s highest financial standards.”
