2026 Hispanic Education Summit
Each year, Hispanic Federation hosts the largest community-wide gathering focused on Latino education. The Hispanic Education Summit brings together community advocates, educators, students, parents and policymakers to share best practices and needed reforms aimed at improving Latino educational achievements. The strategies and recommendations developed from the summit are compiled into a report and action agenda to help guide our educational advocacy and policymaking at the local, state, and federal levels. While this year’s summit will primarily focus on New York City, the agenda will also include space for state and national-level discussions.

Proposal Guidelines
Presenters should select topics aligned with their areas of expertise and should offer practical and actionable applications that attendees can directly apply in their work as educators, administrators, and policy makers. Proposals may focus on any of the following topics:
- Multilingual Learners and English Language Learners
- Parent Voice and Empowerment in Schools
- High School Pathways, Graduation Measures and Access to Advanced Coursework /Dual Enrollment
- NYC Reads and NYC Solves
- Longitudinal Data for Accountability and Education Equity
- Career Pathways and Workforce Preparation
- College Access, Affordability and Postsecondary Success
- Ensuring Equitable Access to AI in Education Development
- BIPOC Teacher Recruitment, Preparation and Retention
- Student Mental Health, Well-Being and Academic Outcomes
To submit a proposal for a presentation or panel discussion at the 2026 Hispanic Education Summit, please complete this form and submit no later than March 21, 2026.
Please note that there is no honorarium for speakers and travel expenses will not be covered.
