Recovering from the health and economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic full access to emergency assistance and a sustained commitment to addressing structural inequalities. Such changes warrant expanded roles for Latino-led community-based organizations as service providers and partners in policy development. Community-based and led nonprofits are trusted and respected among the people they serve, and are leading the way in providing services, relief, and care to vulnerable residents and families in Latino and other communities of color. In this session, panelists discuss the critical role community-based organizations play in the recovery process.
