Attorney General James is a Champion of the People and Hispanic Federation Stands Firmly Against Politicized Attack
New York, NY – Earlier today, New York Attorney General James was indicted by a federal grand jury in Virginia. Below is a statement from Frankie Miranda, President and CEO of Hispanic Federation regarding the recent indictment:
“The White House’s use of the Department of Justice to target Attorney General Letitia James has further demonstrated the weaponization of federal agencies to target political opposition. Attorney General James has been a tireless champion who has consistently stood up to protect and uplift New Yorkers and vulnerable communities across the nation. We have trust that the judicial process will ultimately show that the charges presented by the Department of Justice are merely an attempt to silence those who disagree with the White House’s political agenda.”
