Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program: The U.S. Small Business Administration’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan program is providing low-interest working capital loans of up to $2 million to nonprofits in need of financial assistance. 

Emergency Plan Template: The Human Services Council has designed an Emergency Plan template to help organizations prepare for disasters and other emergencies. It includes guidance for preparedness, emergency action and continuity of operations. 

Disaster Distress Helpline: The COVID-19 pandemic is understandably causing a great deal of stress and anxiety for many people. It as important a time as ever to be mindful of the ways in which information may be impacting our mental health. SAMHSA’s Disaster Distress Helpline is available and can provide immediate support to those in need. You can call 1-800-985-5990 or text TalkWithUs to 66746 to connect with a trained crisis counselor. The helpline is available 24/7/365.

Telecommuting Resources: GoToMeeting by LogMeIn is offering eligible nonprofits and other entities free Emergency Remote Work kits to allow organization-wide use of many LogMeIn products for three months. Internet Service Providers: This article tells you which internet providers are lifting data caps during the coronavirus and are providing relief for their customers. 

Mental Health Services: The National Alliance on Mental Health Illness has developed a Resource and Information Guide to help individuals who are dealing with higher levels of anxiety, stress and loneliness as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Initial Analysis of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act: On March 27, the House unanimously passed and President signed into law the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, a $2 trillion economic stimulus law intended to provide immediate relief for individuals, nonprofits, businesses, and state and local governments. The CARES Act is the third law enacted in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
