New York Digital Education Fund

In April 2022, in partnership with Schmidt Futures, National Digital Inclusion Alliance announced the first grantee cohort for the New York Digital Inclusion Fund. Funding will support the New York City Latino Digital Equity Initiative efforts to: Educate community members about affordable broadband options, including low-cost broadband options such as the Emergency Broadband Benefit and income-based low-cost options provided by Internet Service Providers; Supplement broadband internet bills for digital skilling trainees; Improve internet technology in partner community based organizations to increase availability of high-quality broadband service; partner with community based organizations with laptops that will enable community children, youth, and families to access digital skills training, financial and food supports, and health and mental health services.
