Twas the night before the Holiday Season and all through the Federation’s house little elves are stirring.” That’s right, familia, the Federation’s staff is working overtime to ensure that  thousands of needy children receive the gift of a toy or book during the giving season. We are once again proud to kick off our Annual Holiday Toy Drive with the generous support of GOYA FOODS.

Each year the Hispanic Federation’s Toy Drive provides more than 15,000 toys and books to underprivileged children and families in foster care, domestic abuse shelters, medical clinics, assisted housing units and early childhood centers.

Many of our donations come from employee associations that collect toys at their work place, corporate events, holiday parties and private donations from individuals who want to make the holidays brighter for very special children. This year we particularly need YOUR HELP to meet the growing number of children and families affected by our nation’s economic downturn. Please consider donating a gift or SPONSORING A TOY DRIVE at your place of business to support our efforts. Together we can work to ensure that many more children experience the joy of a gift during the holiday season.

The Hispanic Federation’s Annual Toy Drive is one of the largest and oldest campaigns of its kind. Since 1990, it has distributed over 150,000 new toys and books to underprivileged children in our region.
