Hispanic Federation’s Vice President of External Affairs, Frankie Miranda, met with Univision’s Merijoel Duran to discuss La Homofobia Tiene Muchas Caras - a multifaceted social marketing campaign designed to promote acceptance and understanding of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) persons and combat the profound social impact of anti-gay stigma. They were joined by Nelson Castro of Hispanic AIDS Forum and Evelyn Figueroa, a proud mother who spoke about the challenges of raising a gay son in today’s society.
